چکیده
Pathogenic bacteria can interfere with the body health by producing toxic substances, damaging tissues, multiplying and killing healthy cells. Therefore, it is crucial to explore safe alternative treatment strategies, such as developing natural bactericidal agents eradicate infections. Red ginger (Zingiber officinale var. rubrum) has potential an antibacterial, so important study its activity in inhibiting pathogenic bacteria. The aim of this was assess antibacterial inhibition mechanism red extract inhibitor bacterial infection. Methods dilution, Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion, test using a spectrophotometer SEM were conducted study. ethanol inhibit growth Salmonela thypi, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Streptococcus mutans at concentration 500 µg/mL, while Pseudomonas aeruginosa 250 µg/mL. Further observation cell leakage showed that higher concentration, leakage. Based on results, quantity S. after decreased, wall became wrinkled destroyed. rhizome be recommended future agent, especially for infections caused

ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTI-BIOFILM ACTIVITY OF GINGER (Zingiber officinale (Roscoe)) ETHANOLIC EXTRACT
The antibacterial and anti-biofilm activity of ethanolic extract from the rhizome of Zingiber officinale were evaluated. In vitro antibacterial activity was investigated by microdilution method. Minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) have been determined. The values were in the range from 0.0024 to > 20 mg/ml. The most sensitive bacteria were Gram-po...

The antibacterial activity of ethanol extract of Zingiber officinale Roscoe (ginger) and its combination with different salts like CuSO4, ZnSO4 and MnCl2 was investigated. Both Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria were tested by agar diffusion method. The results showed that ethanol extract of Zingiber officinale gave the maximum zone of inhibition at 50mg/ml concentrations against Escheric...
